Group Members are entitles to one seat in the international council and reduced registration for all for the meeting (see conditions below). Group members are not entitled for general assembly to vote (only regular members and 1 member of the group (usually the president).

Cancellations and refunds
Refunds will not be granted for Memberships.
Membership Entitlement / Advantages
When becoming a member, you will be entitled to all IOIS privileges. See IOIS Membership Benefits below.
- Receive the IOIS Newsletters through which you will be kept up to date on what is happening within our Society and our field of expertise.
- Voting rights at the General Assembly* and be eligible to be elected to all committees.
- Reduced registration fees: IOIS members in good standing** - are also entitled to reduced registration fees for the bi-annual congress.

* Regular Individual Members in good standing can vote at the General Assembly - Trainee members shall not have voting rights.
** Members in good standing: having paid membership of at least two most recent consecutive years (meaning for example for 2024 and 2025).

As decided in the last General Assembly in June 2025, IOIS will unfortunately no longer be able to support article processing fees for member-authored manuscripts submitted to and accepted for publication at the Journal of Ophthalmic Inflammation and Infection
