Infectious Uveitis

Infections disguised as non-infectious conditions: how to identify them
IOIS section session
Wednesday 25 June 2025, 10:30 - 11:30, Gávea B (400)

One of the major challenges in uveitis is finding a lead to possible etiology and minimizing laboratory investigations that should be tailored. To narrow down the differentials, one has to pay close attention to the phenotype including imaging and look for subtle biomarkers that could help in differentiating infectious from non-infectious etiologies. This Symposiums aims to highlight these imaging parameters that shall help the attendees to identify infections while they are disguising as non-infections.
